Newsletters - February - March 1999

On February 18, 1999, Todd Norton, Executive Vice President of Sabinsa Corporation was invited by Senator Orrin Hatch-UT, to participate in a "Business Leadership Roundtable" in Provo, Utah. Among the attendees were several executives from other nutritional supplement companies. One of the issues receiving considerable attention had to do with strengthening legislation pertaining to the dietary supplement industry. While Senator Hatch acknowledged our past successes, primariliy the passage of DSHEA, he said the fight was far from over. He asked that our industry continue to be his "eyes and ears" and communicate to him any issues that might impede the progress made in recent years.
