Sabinsa Europe GmbH, in Langen, Germany commenced operations last month. Lutz Weise, Ph.D., has been appointed resident director of Sabinsa Europe GmbH and Simone Rexin has been hired as business development manager. Dr. Weise has a doctorate in chemical engineering, as well as an MBA. He is fluent in French, German and English, and has extensive scientific marketing experience in the biotechnical and pharmaceutical industries. Rexin holds an MBA and is an experienced sales and marketing manager with extensive expertise in the cosmetic and food industries. She is also fluent in German, English, French, Spanish and Italian. Kavita Subramanian, senior manager of international business development at Sabinsa's headquarters in New Jersey, will continue to serve as the corporate liaison for the European division.
